1970s Vintage Bootie Slippers Crochet Pattern: Great slippers for after ski, or any occasion for cozy feet, are crocheted in an assortment of colors in a variety of pattern stitches. Soles can be cut from discarded leather, suede or vinyl articles, using your own foot for a pattern.
Size: Any women's size.
Materials:
Worsted weight yarn, up to 8 ozs (depending on size) of assorted colors.
Steel crochet hooks Nos. 7 (or finer) and 0.
Suede, smooth leather, or vinyl, piece large enough for 2 soles.
Foam-type insoles, 1 pair men's large size.
Glue. Large tapestry needle.
Hammer and nail or awl (for punching leather).
