1970s Vintage Shell Stitch Blouse Crochet Pattern: Crochet a shell stitch, pullover blouse with a matching belt. Elegant enough for those special occasions.
Size: Directions are given for Small Size. Medium and Large Sizes are in parentheses.
Materials:
J. & P. Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen, 12 (14, 16) (175-yard) balls;
6 small ball buttons;
4 large ball buttons.
For Small and Medium Sizes: Crochet hook, size G.
For Large Size: Crochet hook size H, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge:
Size G hook: 3 shells and 3 sc = 2 3/4 inches; 5 rows = 1 3/4 inches;
Size H hook: 1 shell and 1 sc = 1 inch; 5 rows = 2 inches.
