1960s Vintage Cowboy Afghan Crochet Pattern: Afghan for a child's room has a cowboy and horse embroidered in cross-stitch on an afghan stitch background. A striped border, in double crochet, picks up the embroidery colors.

Note: The center of afghan is done in afghan stitch/Tunisian crochet, using a longer crochet hook that resembles a knitting needle. Instructions for afghan stitch are included but you will need an afghan hook.

Size: Afghan measures about 44 x 50 inches. (112 cm x 127 cm).

Knitting worsted yarn, 12 ozs yellow main color (MC); 6 ozs each blue
(A), brown (B), black (C), white (D) and red (E).

Crochet hook size C.
Tapestry needle.
