1970s Vintage Chevron Dress Crochet Pattern for Women: A delicately striped dress uses chevron pattern for the skirt which is worked down from the waist. The basic stitch is double crochet and the chevrons are formed by increasing and decreasing an equal number of stitches alternately across every row. The bodice and sleeves are made in an openwork block pattern by working pairs of dc separated by a chain stitch.
