1970s Vintage Bolero Vest and Skirt Circled Set Crochet Pattern: Summery two-piece cotton outfit has a multitude of rings joined to each other in the crocheting. Bolero is made vertically in one color; slightly flared skirt is striped in four colors. Skirt and bolero are worked with 2 strands of yarn.

Sizes: Small 8-10; changes for Medium (12-14) and Large (16) are in parentheses.
Bolero: Fits Bust Size: 31 1/2- 32 1/2 (34-36-38) inches.
Skirt: Fits Waist Size: 23-24 (25 1/2- 27- 29) inches.

Materials: J. & P. Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen (Size 10 cotton crochet thread).
For Skirt: 4 (4-6) balls each of Watermelon (A), Mid Rose (B), Spanish Red (C) and Nu-Purple (0).
For Bolero: 8 (8-10) balls Watermelon.
Steel crochet hook No. 1 (2.75 mm).
One yard 1/2 inch elastic for skirt.
Yarn needle.

Gauge: Bolero: 4 motifs = 3 1/2 inches; 3 rows = 2 1/2 inches.
Skirt: 4 motifs of 10 hdc = 3 1/4 inches; 1 motif of 20 dc = 1 1/4 inch.
