1970s Vintage Irish Knit Hooded Sweater Knitting Pattern for Women: Cozy and comfortable Irish knit sweater in a loose easy shape; the hood and the pockets are great cold weather extras. This is a more advanced knitting pattern, beyond my skill level.

Size:
Small 6-8. Changes for sizes Medium (10-12), Large (14-16) and Extra Large (18-20) are In parentheses. Loosely fitting garment.
Bust: 34 (38- 40 1/2- 43) inches.

Materials:
Reynolds Poemes (super bulky yarn), 18 (20, 23, 26) balls;
knitting needles No. 7, No. 8 and No. 9 or size to obtain gauge;
dp or cable needle.

Gauge: On No. 9 needles,
Diamond Pattern- 16 sts = 4 1/2 inches;
Honeycomb Pat - 32 sts = 7 inches.
